This year’s CAMX (Composites and Advanced Materials Expo) was an incredible experience, full of innovations and exciting industry developments. CellMo was proud to be part of this dynamic event, showcasing unique applications of our technology offerings - both CryoStruct™ and PyroStruct™ - and connecting with other industry leaders.

At our booth, we introduced our cutting-edge metal foams, and the positive feedback we received affirmed that our product offering is positioned to transform thermal, physical, and electrochemical applications.

Top Trends We Observed

While polymer and carbon-fiber composite materials companies dominated the expo, there was high interest surrounding CellMo’s potential applications. At the expo, CellMo was the only company specializing in this unique metal foam product. Many companies were excited to test this never-seen-before product within their own product.

Companies were highly interested in our metal foams for its:

Force absorption/dampening potential
Thermal dissipation & insulation purposes
High strength and toughness combined with other materials

For applications within various industries - such as sports equipment, military armors, and aircraft components. Expo attendees were very excited to receive samples and begin testing.

Building Connections

CAMX was a fantastic networking opportunity. We connected with multiple potential partners specializing in various (and unique) products, and are very excited about the collaborations ahead. This expo has broadened our technology to more use cases, and we’re really excited to work towards assessing feasibility and effectiveness.
